Kirsten Lawton

I'm Kirsten. I'm 5ft 5" with dark hair and a good sense of humour. What? You don't want that sort of profile. Oh ok, how about I'm Kirsten and I'm a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner. I assist clients by providing technical advice, I develop audits, policy and really enjoy challenging unfair legal action! I worked in local authority as an enforcement officer for 12 years before moving to the private sector and so I understand 'both sides of the fence.' I keep a notebook of environmental health related anecdotes and horror-stories - one day I hope to write a best-selling James Herriot style book!

Between work and family life, I like to fill my time running. I am a member of a local running club and enjoy race events - 10k and half marathons being my distances of choice. I have recently completed my 4th half marathon setting a new personal best. Over the years I have raised hundreds of pounds for charity, but mostly I just run for the love of it (and the cake afterwards)!
