You can open doors to new customers through approval to either the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety or the SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval) standards.
The SALSA standard is usually best for a smaller, start up or niche food businesses new to building food safety standards. The BRC Global Standard is certainly achievable to most food companies and can help you gain sales from major food retailers and the large catering companies as well as opening doors to international food purchasers. Our consultants included trained lead assessors and food sector experts and can help you build standards whether it be BRC, SALSA or ISO 22000.
We can conduct a BRC pre-audit before your BRC or SALSA approval audit. Whilst being independent of certificated approval systems we are very familiar with the standards required and can work with you to get the result you deserve!

SALSA is the Food Safety Certification Scheme for small to medium sized producers.

Our BRC pre-audits are usually 2 days in duration and include a detailed audit report with recommendations.
