Noise at Work
The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 came into force on 6th April 2006 and will apply to the music and entertainment sectors from April 2008.
- Employers are required to assess the risks to employees’ health from noise at work.
- Depending upon the level of noise and the amount of exposure, employers must provide hearing protection and hearing protection zones, or assess the risk to workers' health and provide them with information and training.
- A risk assessment under this legislation must be undertaken by a competent person and this is where we can help.

Our expert consultants are available to provide advice or even carry out a full noise assessment.
An assessment involves establishing the level of noise at the workplace and the level of exposure.
We will help identify measures to eliminate or reduce noise exposure risks and where necessary, devise a noise-control action plan specific to your business
