Lindsay Hewitt

Lindsay

I am a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and Food Safety Consultant.  I have spent 13 years working in local government specialising in food hygiene and health & safety.   In 2003 I completed a post graduate diploma in food safety, hygiene & management and then in 2009 I took the jump into the private sector and started to do some work with Hygiene Audit Systems carrying out audits and delivering courses.  As I enjoyed delivering the  training so much I enrolled on a  part time Post Graduate Certificate in Education course  with Greenwich University –so hopefully in a couple of years I will be a fully qualified teacher!  In May 2011 I joined Hygiene Audit Systems as a full time member of staff (well nearly as I only work a half day on Wednesday but am here the rest of the week.  I provide technical advice and develop food safety management systems as well as continuing to carry out audits and deliver training.

I spend my spare time with our four children and my partner.  The two youngest are into their tennis so it feels like I spend the majority of my time watching them playing tennis and ferrying them to training or tournaments. When I do get time to myself I enjoy spin classes and swimming at the gym.
