India Rojano – Tennis Profile
Dr Lisa Ackerley was once a keen tennis player; with her personal involvement in Cornwall and the knowledge that getting to the top in this sport requires considerable funding, she is pleased to sponsor, through Hygiene Audit Systems, a young budding tennis star from Cornwall, India Rojano. India has been playing tennis for 5 years. For the last 3 she has been a member of the Cornwall County Tennis Squad for her age group and will also be a valued member in 2009.
Competition is one of India’s passions and she competes in LAT sanctioned tournaments throughout the South West.
In September 2008 she was accepted at Bodmin Performance Centre, training 12 hrs per week alongside some of the best juniors in the country.
India is ranked 4th for her age in Cornwall, and thanks to the help of her sponsors, she can take up further offers of training which will help her to improve further.
She has recently been invited to attend a special training academy in Boston for one week with her squad, and through sponsorship has managed to secure her place.
